Deep hydration, smoother texture and a natural glow, without adding volume.
Dubai's heat, low humidity and near constant air conditioning pull moisture out of the skin faster than almost any other climate. For a lot of residents the result is the same story: skin that looks dull, feels tight by midday and starts showing fine lines earlier than it should, even with a careful skincare routine. A skin booster works underneath that problem. It is a short course of tiny hyaluronic acid injections placed into the skin to rebuild hydration, firmness and radiance from the inside.
At Skin Booster Lab in Dubai, our DHA licensed team uses skin boosters to improve the quality of your skin rather than change your face. You keep your features. Your skin simply looks healthier, fresher and more even. Women and men both come to us for this, often before a wedding or an event, and just as often because their skin stopped bouncing back the way it used to.
A skin booster is a minimally invasive injectable made mostly of hyaluronic acid, a sugar molecule your body already produces to hold water inside the skin. Using a very fine needle, the product is delivered into the dermis as a series of small microinjections spread evenly across the treatment area.
This next part is the bit people most often get wrong, so it is worth being clear: a skin booster is not a dermal filler. A filler sits in one place to add volume and reshape a feature, a cheek or a lip for example. A skin booster does the opposite. It spreads thin to hydrate and condition the whole area, improving texture, elasticity and glow. It does not lift, plump or change your proportions, which is exactly why the result looks like good skin rather than work done.
Once it is in the skin, the hyaluronic acid draws in and holds water, and over the following weeks it stimulates your own fibroblasts to produce fresh collagen and elastin. That is the part that firms and smooths the skin over time, and it is why the result keeps improving across a course rather than appearing all at once.
Most people come to us with a goal in mind rather than a product name. These are the concerns skin boosters address most often:
If your concern is really about volume or a deep fold, a booster may not be the right tool, and we will tell you that honestly at your consultation rather than sell you the wrong treatment.
Different skin, different goals, different product. During your consultation we match you to the right one rather than selling a single option to everyone. Each treatment below has its own page with the full detail.
Holds one of the highest concentrations of pure hyaluronic acid available and works by bioremodelling, firming and tightening skin laxity in the lower face, neck and jawline. A typical plan is two sessions about four weeks apart, with results commonly described as lasting up to six months.
See Profhilo in Dubai →Uses polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA. A repair focused booster, valued for improving skin healing, texture and resilience, and a strong choice for tired or stressed skin and the delicate area under the eyes.
See Rejuran in Dubai →Combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids that feed the skin and support collagen. It suits dull, dehydrated skin and early fine lines across the face, neck and hands.
See Jalupro in Dubai →A smooth gel booster known for delivering skin quality improvement from a single session, with results often described as lasting up to nine months. Popular with people who would rather come in less often.
See Juvederm Volite in Dubai →The Restylane Vital and Vital Light formulas restore softness and hydration to the face, neck, decolletage and hands, with Vital Light suited to thinner, more sensitive skin.
See Restylane in Dubai →Delivers hyaluronic acid alongside a complex of vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants, a mesotherapy style boost aimed at radiance and overall skin condition.
See NCTF in Dubai →Blends hyaluronic acid with amino acids and is often chosen for the area around the eyes and for under eye crepeyness and tone.
See Sunekos in Dubai →The boosters do related jobs, but they are not interchangeable. This is the quick comparison most people want before their consultation.
Which skin booster is right for you? In short, Profhilo suits firmness and mild laxity along the lower face, jawline and neck. Rejuran suits skin that feels tired or stressed and the under eye area. Juvederm Volite suits long lasting hydration from a single visit. Jalupro is a sensible starting point for dull, dehydrated skin, NCTF adds a vitamin rich radiance boost, and Sunekos is chosen for the delicate eye area. If you are weighing two popular options side by side, our guide to Profhilo vs Rejuran goes deeper. You do not have to decide alone, though. At your consultation we look at your skin and match the product to your goal.
Skin boosters work almost anywhere the skin needs hydration and conditioning. These are the areas our Dubai clients ask for most:
Skin boosters are not only for women. A growing share of our clients are men who want healthier, fresher skin without anything that looks obviously done. The usual reasons are dullness and dehydration from long hours in air conditioning and frequent travel, tired under eyes from screens and late nights, and early firmness loss along the jawline. The treatment, the products and the natural result are the same for everyone. The plan is simply tailored to the skin in front of us.
It helps to know where a skin booster sits next to the other injectables you may have heard of.
A filler sits in one place to add volume and reshape a feature such as a cheek or a lip. A skin booster spreads through the skin to improve its quality and hydration without changing your shape. Many people have both, for different jobs.
Read skin booster vs dermal filler →Botox relaxes the muscles that create expression lines. A skin booster does nothing to your muscles; it works on the skin itself, its hydration, texture and firmness. They solve different problems and are sometimes used together.
Mesotherapy delivers a cocktail of vitamins, amino acids and antioxidants, often more superficially, while most skin boosters are mainly hyaluronic acid placed in the dermis. Some products, such as NCTF, sit across both ideas.
Read skin booster vs mesotherapy →You can combine skin boosters with filler, Botox and a good skincare routine. At your consultation we plan the order and timing that makes sense for your skin, so everything works together.
Skin boosters suit most adults whose main concern is the quality of their skin rather than its shape. You are likely a good candidate if your skin is dehydrated, dull, finely lined, crepey or starting to lose its firmness, and you want a result that looks natural. Most of our clients are in their late twenties to fifties, women and men, and many start as an early, preventative step before deeper lines set in.
There are times to wait or take extra care. Skin boosters are generally not carried out during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over an active skin infection or breakout in the treatment area, or where you have a known allergy to an ingredient. If you have a medical condition or take medication that affects bleeding or healing, tell us at your consultation so we can advise you properly. A DHA licensed practitioner always checks your suitability before any treatment. You can also read about skin booster side effects and safety.
Living here is hard on skin in a specific way. Long days in dry, cooled indoor air, intense UV the moment you step outside, and very low humidity all combine to strip the skin's water content and speed up the loss of collagen. Hydrating creams sit on the surface and only do so much. A skin booster restores moisture inside the dermis, where it actually changes how the skin looks and behaves. For a lot of residents it turns out to be the step a whole shelf of products was never going to fix.
A skin booster is not a one off. The first session starts the process and the result builds as your skin responds over the following weeks, which is why most plans begin with a short course. Once your skin is where you want it, a single maintenance session keeps it there.
How long each result holds depends on the product, your skin and your lifestyle. Profhilo results are commonly described as lasting up to six months, and Juvederm Volite up to nine months from a single session. Repair and amino acid based boosters such as Rejuran, Jalupro and Sunekos are usually given as a course and then maintained with periodic sessions. Sun exposure, smoking and a dehydrating lifestyle all shorten how long any result lasts, which is worth keeping in mind in Dubai's climate. We will suggest a realistic maintenance rhythm at your consultation, never more often than your skin actually needs.
Price depends on the product chosen and how many sessions your skin needs, because a single hydration booster and a full bioremodelling course are simply not the same treatment. At Skin Booster Lab, skin boosters start from 900 per session, and we confirm your full plan and price at the consultation, before anything begins. No surprises on the day.

Results build over a course, so the clearest difference shows after your second or third session and keeps improving for a few weeks afterwards. See real client results on our before and after page.
For the best result, for the first two to three days avoid sun exposure, hot showers, saunas, swimming pools and any strenuous exercise that makes you sweat heavily. Sleep with your head slightly raised on the first night, try not to press on or massage the treated area, and drink plenty of water. Mild redness, small bumps or a little bruising can happen at the injection points and usually settle within a day or two.
